What did I do before massage…
I graduated from Wayne State University with a BFA in Interior Architecture and worked in design for seven years. In architecture and design I created inviting spaces that were both comfortable and functional for people to live and work. Now I do the same thing, only the environment is the human body.
People ask…
Many of my clients ask what prompted me to leave a career as an interior designer to become a massage therapist. I discovered firsthand the healing effects of massage. Chronic pain drained my energy physically and emotionally. Tired and hurting, I was physically deteriorating. I had neither the energy nor ambition to exercise. Normal activities were a chore.
Routine massage treatments literally awakened my body, taking away the frustration that had arisen from the lethargy, relieved the pain, and lifted the fog from my head. As an interior designer, I helped people enjoy their surroundings; with massage I help them enjoy their lives. I truly love my work and helping you live a more fulfilling life with the assistance of massage therapy and bodywork.
